Hello! I know its been a couple of years since you last updated, but I love this pack <3. Was wondering if you ever did a water texture in your style? Thank you so much for allowing the use of it

Hey no probs glad you like it :) I made a quick water tile to get you started if you wanted hope you like it, its not perfect but i had some time before i started work so i threw something together

This farm is so cute and friendly

Looks cool!

Would love to see:

* A chick that's more yellow and cute looking :)

* Pecking animations for the chickens

Hey yeah I've added an extra chicken colour and some more animations hope you enjoy :)

Yay!! So nice :)  Thank you!

Yo, just bought this pack and it's really cute. I would also love more crops for sure. You should maybe release a second pack with just crops or something. If you do, come back to this comment and reply with the link and I'll buy that too.

hey thanks im glad you like it, and there is a crop pack :) its called simple crop pack

Hope you like this one too :)

Dope, just bought it :)

Hey. Your assets are really great and I really like your art. I wanna ask how I should give you proper credit 'cause I don't know how I should do that. Thanks in advance :)

Hey thanks :) nothing to fancy just give me a shout out if you use then so i can get more interest :)

You are free to use them as is or modify them to your liking. All i ask is you credit me if you do use them please :)

This is what’s known as an “informal license” and, in some countries, it puts people who take you up on that offer at legal risk.

My advice is to edit the metadata in the “More Information” box and set “Asset License” to one of the versions of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license, which lays out “do whatever you want as long as you give me credit” in precise legal terms.

thank ill change it :)

No problem. You make good stuff, so it’d be a shame if people couldn’t use it because of quirks in their country’s laws.

Having stuff under a proper license also means that I can add it to the list I’m building to help people find assets I wish I had when I was a kid. (I was learning to program but had no pixel-art skills. I ended up giving up on games and doing non-game programming instead.)

That said, I notice that you made the same change to some of your other assets, but the description says “Licence is under CCBYSA”. You’ll want to change either their descriptions or their “More Information” blocks so they agree.

Good luck with the list it should be updated now :) thanks for the heads up :) alot of this licence stuff is pretty hard to understand without spending forever trying to break it down

Hey, the main reason I understand as much as I do is that I’ve been following a lot of blogs about tech, the law, and open-source stuff over the years. It’s really something people should get a more formal introduction to.

Also, while it’s not a show-stopper since you’ve got the proper info in the “More Information” box, “CCA” doesn’t actually mean anything anyone will recognize. The abbreviation for “Creative Commons Attribution v4.0” is “CC BY 4.0”. (The easiest way to check these sorts of things is to look at the Creative Commons site. The URL is https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ and the title is “Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)”)

How would you feel about adding a few crops at various states of growth? Happy to pay something for it!

yeah ill add some :) what crops are you thinking? Corn, tomoato, lettuce ?

Honestly those sound great! It would be awesome to have 3/4 stages + a wilted stage

What do you think of these :

the Sweet Berry Bush

and the Golden Ground Melon

That's amazing, thanks for doing that so quickly!

heres a few more:

The Leafy Crop and The Strange Root :)

The Leafy Crop : while only the leaves are edible, the flower it sprouts can be used for teas and medicines when dried.

The Strange Root: Bitter when eaten raw, can be sliced and fried for a crispy treat.

hope you like them im having fun thinking up random plants :)

hey, I've been seeing your other stuff and was wondering if you'd be interested in doing a game jam or something with me.

i did this: https://m.imgur.com/a/lmew3UE

i went very off genre with that (although i'd argue it looks entertaining), but i could totally do a farm game, or anything else.

Hey, sorry i haven’t uploaded anything new in a while got sucked into some new games atm :) id def be interested in doing a jam with you :) we should organise a discord and have a brainstorm session or play a game together and talk ideas.

As for that upload i love it ! nothing wrong with getting a silly idea and running with it. Just because its from a farm doesn’t mean its has to be a game about farming :)

that sounds cool and agree on everything.

here's my discord chirptune#1829

Enjoying learning godot with this pack.

I can move the chicken and collide with the fences. Would send capture, but obs isn't working right now.

This is really cool ill upload some changes i made to the pack so you can implement them :)

(1 edit)

Awesome. A couple of things that come to mind that would be kickass are some water container, like a bucket, or a pile of chicken seeds like food.

I would be delighted to implement some mecanic where a chicken can drink/eat.

But you know, absolutely 0 pressure or obligation to draw said things.

Here you go what you think of the new colour palette

daaamn, they look dreamy!

I love the all these changes, that bird house is so pretty.

the chickens look nice, very polished.

thank you for drawing the things I mentioned!

today I implemented random movement on NPC chickens.

If you want to run it with godot, I uploaded it here https://github.com/zzyyxxww/farm

Very WIP though, as I'm learning godot.

Glad you like it ill check it out :)

There's definitely interest! Itchio definitely lacks a good farm pack :)
